Overview Information
o We will be selecting 21 All Americans, 21 All Academic, 1 Jackie Pitts and 1 Coach of the Year award for the Potomac Chapter.
o You may only nominate a maximum of 5 All Americans & 5 All Academics. If you submit more than 5, the Potomac Chapter Chairs reserve the right to use the time stamp on the nomination to eliminate any player over 5.
o A player is not eligible to receive both All American & All Academic honors. You can enter a player for both awards, however if they are selected for All American honors, (which is voted on first), then they will be automatically removed from All-Academic consideration.
o What you submit online is what will appear on the electronic voting ballot. We are unable to make edits to stats, information, college commitments etc. If you need to correct something, resubmit the entire entry again.
o When completing the online nomination form make sure to select “District of Columbia – Potomac (NVA, DC, MD)” as the area otherwise the player will not appear on our voting. It is the coaches responsibility to make sure this is accurate.
o On the Assessment and Additional Information Sections, please keep it succinct and include only pertinent information coaches would be interested in reading
o If you submit multiple players from your school for All American or All-Academic you must RANK the players you submitted in the Coaches Assessment block within the submission (i.e 1-5)
o You will receive a confirmation email from US Lacrosse if you submit your nomination correctly. Make sure to save the auto- email from US Lacrosse, it is the only confirmation we will accept that a player was submitted before the deadline in the event there are any issues. This will help us identify what might have gone wrong with your submission.
o For All Academic, you must upload the player’s transcript in the All-Academic nomination online AND email the official transcripts to Richard DeSomma, [email protected] .
All NOMINATIONS MUST BE submitted online by 11:59pm on Friday, May 20th.
